My second visit in the summer 2012 at the British War Cemetery after the first in june. This time the sun was shining and so I can see the shadows of the thousands of gravestones.

"Silent atmosphere under old trees"

Some hundred meters away from the Sacrow Castle and the Sacrow Church there is an old cemetery: The Sacrow Cemetery. It is not big, only some graves, but it has a silent atmosphere.

The Protestant Church of the Redeemer (German: Heilandskirche) is located in the south of the village of Sacrow, which since 1939 is incorporated to Potsdam, the capital of the German Bundesland of Brandenburg. It is famous for its Italian Romanesque Revival architecture with a separate campanile (bell tower) and for its localization. It has been built in 1844.

In July 2012 I had the chance to fly with a collegue ("Thank you Thomas!") in his gyrocopter. It was my charge for taking pictures on his wedding day. We flew from his base Rastatt via Karlsruhe to Bruchsal and my hometown Ubstadt. My wife was waiting in the garden and waved. We finished our flight at the small airport in Bruchsal.

"Blickwinkelsucher: Traffic in Ubstadt"

The "Blickwinkelsucher Ubstadt" (what means "Perspective View Finder") is a group of Photo-Friends in the surrounding of the "Family Center Ubstadt-Weiher". The "Blickwinkelsucher Ubstadt" went in July 2012 to the railroad station and looked for some perspectives relating to the Term "Traffic".

"Black Forrest in summer"

In June we stayed for the 5th time on a former farm "The Ochsenhof" in the black forrest. We were 5 families with 10 adults and 13 children, which means a lot of fun and playing at this weekend.

Regarding the former plans of the move of the Berlin Airports, the airport Tegel should have been closed and no airports would be seen on my pictures…. BUT …. Again the moving was hold off on a later date. So I could again visit the Visitors terrace in Tegel.

Once again I visited the Zoological Garden when I stayed for some days in Berlin. Once again it is nice to see all the fascinating animals. This time I was interested in the beautiful Tiger.

The Friedhof Heerstraße cemetery is located at the district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf in Berlin, beneath the Olympiastadion. It covers an area of 149,650 square meters, most of it under trees. A lot of german well-known people find their eternal peace on it. For example: Loriot, Horst Buchholz or Joachim Ringelnatz.
