"Dead people and living animals"
Cemetery | Grasten | Denmark | 2013-08
A little trip took me to the cemetery of Grasten. There, I was surprised by two deer and a small spider. Overall it is a cemetery with a nice atmosphere.

Père Lachaise Cemetery | Paris | France | 2013-03
I booked some days in Paris for the beginning of March. What I didn´t could know during the booking is that this years´ springtime-weather in Western Europe was very cold and wet.
And so I had in Paris a warm saturday aftermoon, a colder cloudy sunday and a wintercold snowing monday.
Nevertheless I did that thing which I like most during a cloudy sky... I went to take pictures at some of the dozen cemeteries in Paris. Here are the pics from the Père Lachaise cemetery. Including some pics of *Jim Morrisson´s grave.

"The largest cemetery in Berlin - 'In den Kisseln'"
In den Kisseln | Cemetery | Berlin | Germany | 2012-11
As I stayed for some days in autumn 2012 in Berlin, I visited the cemetery "In den Kisseln" in Berlin-Spandau. This cemetery is the largest one in Berlin. It was opened in 1886. One of the currently buried persons is Thomas Dörflein, a zoo keeper, the "father" of the well-known icebear Knut.

"The Church with the 2 towers"
Cemetery | Broager | Denmark | 2012-08
In Broager, between Sonderborg and Krusa, there is Denmarks only 2-towered church. Around this nice building it is the cemetery and a monument to remember the Broager victims of World War 1. In Nybol there is a little church with cemetery which I visited later that day.

"2 dolphins are building the city emblem" - Part 3
Rethymno | Crete | Greece | 2011-06
Rethymno is a city of approximately 40,000 people in Greece, the capital of Rethymno regional unit on the island of Crete. It was built in antiquity (ancient Rhithymna and Arsinoe), but was never a competitive Minoan centre. It was, however, strong enough to mint its own coins and maintain urban growth. One of these coins is today depicted as the crest of the town with two dolphins in a circle. Origin: wikipedia
