"Sun, Fog and Snow in Paris"

I booked some days in Paris for the beginning of March. What I didn´t could know during the booking is that this springtime-weather in Western Europe was very cold and wet.

And so I had in Paris a warm saturday aftermoon, a colder cloudy sunday and a wintercold snowing monday.

Nevertheless I strolled around and took some pictures.

These pics were taken for luck on a sunday afternoon. I didn´t go out to take pics, but the afternoon light was so wonderful and impressive, that I had no other change to take out my camera. And so I made some pics from the Oberbaum Bridge as well as from the "pregnant oyster" ... so the Nickname for the Berlin Congresshall.

This daytrip went along the same routes we made in 2008. But this time we only wanted to come from A (St. George/Utah) to B (Page/Arizona). We didn´t passed the Zion Nationalpark like in 2008, we took the street via Hurricane and Colorado City. First thought was to stay in Page after visiting again the Antelope Canyon, but for some reasons we went further on this day to Monument Valley.

Gartow is a municipality in the district Lüchow-Dannenberg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated in the easternmost tip of Lower Saxony, on the river Elbe, approx. 30 km northeast of Salzwedel, and 20 km west of Wittenberge. I stood there for roundabout 1 week in early summer 2009.
