Our trip to Norway started in Denmark at the ferry terminal of Hirtshals. Than we shipped through the Oslo-Fjord to Oslo. The weather was perfect and so we could enjoy our journey.

The Tierpark Berlin is one of the two zoos in Berlin. It is located in Friedrichsfelde, on the former grounds of Friedrichsfelde Palace. At 160 hectares it is Europe's largest zoological garden. Founded in 1955, it is the former East Berlin pendant to Berlin Zoologischer Garten.

Once a year in november there is a big ceremony in London for the fallen soldiers - the Remembrance Day. A lot of active troops and reservists defiles through the streets. Even the Queen is present. And so was I. Not going to london only for the Remembrance Day, but since I was there for the weekend, I had a look for this special event.

London by daylight and London by nighttime are, like other cities as well, two different impressions. London especially has a few bridges like the Tower and the Albert Bridge, which are a pleasure to see at night.

One hour northwest from Berlin there is the little city of Liebenwalde. We stayed there for a week to recreate our strength before we get our first child Svenja. We stayed at the Hotel Preussischer Hof (today the "Best Western Grand City Hotel Liebenwalde").

The Olympic Stadiumin Berlin was re-opened in 2004 after 4 years of renovation and building. It´s a place for over 74.000 spectators. It´s hometown of the Berlin soccer team Hertha BSC. In 2006 it was place for the final game of the FIFA Soccer Worldcup.

Once again it is a pleasure to spend a day in the Zoological Garden in Berlin. It was the end of October 2004 and we saw a lot of "Indian Summer". The animals enjoyed the last warm sunbeams.
