The Garden of the Gods was our first meeting with red rocks. Its situated in the west of Colorado Springs. On the nice loop you can see a lot of really red rocks, green meadows and white mountains.

The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, also known as the Holocaust Memorial, is a memorial in Berlin to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, designed by architect Peter Eisenman. It consists of a 19,000 square metres site covered with 2,711 concrete slabs or "stelae", arranged in a grid pattern on a sloping field. The stelae are 2.38 m long, 0.95 m wide and vary in height from 0.2 to 4.8 m.

Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Berlin Central Station) is the main railway station in Berlin, Germany and the largest crossing station in Europe. It began full operation two days after a ceremonial opening in 2006. It is now Europe's largest two-level railway station. The main station hall is spanned by a similarly curved glass roof with a surface area of about 85 metres by 120 metres, which was installed in 2002.

Berlin Ostkreuz (German for "East Cross") is a station on the Berlin S-Bahn suburban railway, and one of the busiest in Germany.The station was opened with the Stadtbahn in 1882. Ostkreuz is notable for its appearance: its buildings and track layout have remained essentially unchanged since the 1920s, and its dilapidated state has earned it the nickname Rostkreuz ("Rust Cross"). Since 2008 a lot of these old tracks were modernized.

"From Where the Berlin jews were deported"

Starting on October 18, 1941 the adjacent goods station until February 1945 was one of the major sites of deportation of the Berlin Jews. The trains left mainly for the ghettos of Litzmannstadt and Warsaw, from 1942 directly for the Auschwitz and Theresienstadt concentration camps. On October 18, 1991 a monument was inaugurated at the ramp leading to the former freight yard. The Deutsche Bahn had a memorial established on January 27, 1998 at the historic track 17 ("Gleis 17"), where most of the deportation trains departed.
